Wrapped up an outstanding prep career for Viborg-Hurley this past fall…was named to Class B all-state honorable mention in 2011 after recording 331 kills, 112 digs, 68 solo blocks and 67 service aces…also recorded her 1,000th career kill during her senior season…for her career, she has been a two-time all-state honorable mention selection, and also has earned all-conference and all-region honors…finished her volleyball career with 1,096 kills, 692 assists, 547 digs, 193 solo blocks, 129 block assists and 162 ace serves…also lettered in basketball and track during her high school career.

One of four players named a team captain by his peers … one of 25 Coyotes who played in all 12 games, he at defensive end … earned 10 starts … led the team with 8.5 tackles-for-loss, 3.0 sacks and eight quarterback hurries … also tied for the team lead with two blocked kicks … finished as the team’s ninth-leading tackler with 37 stops including 19 solo tackles … finished 15th in the Missouri Valley in tackles-for-loss … had four solo tackles-for-loss including one sack in a 28-21 win against nationally-ranked Northern Arizona (9/20) … was named MVFC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts … had a season-high six tackles in the home opener against William Penn (9/6) … had four tackles against FBS national runner-up Oregon in the season opener (8/30) … had a strip sack and fumble recovery on the opening drive of the second half at Youngstown State that led to a field goal and a 10-7 USD lead (11/1) … blocked an extra point against William Penn … blocked a field goal attempt against Southern Illinois that led to an offensive touchdown that tied the game at 10-10 going into halftime (10/4).

One of 10 Coyotes who started all 12 games, he at defensive end … finished seventh on the team in tackles with 51 … was fifth on the team and 19th in the MVFC in tackles-for-loss with 9.0 … had 2.5 sacks … led the team in quarterback hurries with eight … blocked an extra point at Northern Arizona (9/21) … had a strip sack in the third quarter against Youngstown State that set up a USD touchdown (11/2) … finished with a season-high six tackles against YSU, including two for loss.

2012
One of 12 redshirt freshmen who lettered in 2012…earned three starts at defensive end and was one of 38 Coyotes who played in all 11 games…was second among USD defensive linemen in tackles with 35 and was third in tackles for loss with five…also had a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup…had five tackles in the season opener at Montana (9/1)…had five stops including 2.5 tackles for loss and half a sack at Indiana State (10/27)…MVFC Honor Roll.

Competed in the high jump for the Coyotes during the indoor season…jumped a season-best 6-6 3/4 at the Alumni meet.

A three-sport athlete…as a senior earned 35 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries….also blocked three passes and two punts…earned all-state honorable mention and all-conference honors…voted to play in South Dakota’s all-star game…named his team’s most valuable defensive lineman…in his career posted 69 tackles, 4.5 sacks and 11 quarterback hurries…in wrestling finished fourth at the state tournament twice…in track has earned all-state and all-conference honors twice…won the state championship in the high jump twice and has cleared 6-9.

One of 10 Coyotes who started all 12 games, he at outside linebacker … garnered the Tim Mojzik Bulldog Award (USD award selected by his teammates) … finished fourth on the team in tackles with 67 (41 solo) … was second on the team and eighth in the MVFC in tackles-for-loss with 12.0 … also had four sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery … credited with six quarterback hurries and three pass breakups … led the team in tackles three times, including a season-best tally of nine in the season opener vs. UC Davis (8/31) … also forced a fumble against UC Davis … picked off passes in back-to-back weeks against Montana (11/9) and South Dakota State (11/16) … had a team-high nine tackles including two for loss against Indiana State (10/12).

One of two true freshmen who lettered in 2012…started the final two games of the season at linebacker and was one of 38 Coyotes who played in all 11 games…USD’s Harry Gamage Most Valuable Freshman…finished 13th on the team in tackles with 33 (12 solo, 21 assists)…had a season-high seven tackles in the finale at SDSU (11/17)…had five tackles at Northwestern (9/22)…recovered a fumble vs. UNI (11/10)…finished the season with four tackles-for-loss including two sacks, a quarterback hurry and two pass breakups.

Played with Coyote teammate Devon O’Farrell where the duo helped lead Sioux Falls Washington High School to the state title in 2010…was a team captain and earned All-City, All-Conference and Academic All-State honors, as well as honorable mention All-State as a junior…was an Elite 45 as a senior earning all-state honors…named team MVP and was a three year varsity letterwinner…also ran track finishing 8th in state in 110M hurdles as a sophomore and third as a junior…a National Honor Society selection and was on homecoming royalty…had 110 tackles in his caeer with 33 catches for 567 yards and seven touchdowns.
