Two-year starter at quarterback for nationally ranked Jackrabbits … named Missouri Valley Football Conference Newcomer of the Year  in 2011 after setting league record for passing yards by a freshman with 2,382 … placed third in balloting for inaugural Jerry Rice Award as top freshman in Football Championship Subdivision …. tied SDSU single-game record with 37 completions in 2011 game against Northern Iowa … has moved into Jackrabbit career top 10 for passing yards during sophomore season in 2012 … named MVFC Offensive Player of the Week for performance in Oct. 27 Hobo Day game versus Youngstown State, setting career high with five touchdown passes while completing 19-of-28 passes for season-high 351 yards … has six career 300-yard passing games … led Jackrabbits on 18-play, 94-yard game-winning drive in final three minutes Nov. 3 at Southern Illinois.

First year as a member of the Jackrabbit women’s swimming and diving team … previously competed for the University of North Dakota … has made an impact in the sprint freestyle events early in the 2012-13 season, winning both the 50-yard (24.51 seconds) and 100 freestyle (:53.19) events in Nov. 2 home opener against Wisconsin-Green Bay … claimed the 50 freestyle and finished as runner-up in the 100 in season opening dual at Northern Iowa

Three-year letterman who primarily swims the breaststroke events … member of school-record 200 and 400 medley relay teams … finished fourth in 200-yard breaststroke and seventh in 100 breaststroke at 2012 Summit League Championships … all-Summit League performer during 2011-12 season …  member of Summit League All-Academic Team and Summit League Distinguished Scholar … claimed wins in 2012-13 season opener versus Wisconsin-Green Bay, winning the 200-yard breaststroke in 1:56.94 and the 400 individual medley in 4:13.21 … also swam on the Jackrabbits’ winning 200 medley relay
